ROCK SLIDES
Rockslides are the most catastrophic type of landslide. They involve a sudden rapid slide of bedrock along planes of weakness. Rockslides are very common in the oversteepened canyons and drainages of Idaho, particularly in those areas like the Salmon River Canyon where more than 5,000 feet of elevation may exist between the ridge tops and the canyon bottoms.

JOurnal entry #1
The parties at fault for the oil spill in Mexico I think are the sailors because they should have acted correctly and assumed there was a problem instead of assuming it was nothing. That is their job and they did not fo fill it correctly. Also I think the government is at fault for not taking drilling seriously enough because, if the government made sure the technology was correct and everything worked then, there wouldn't be an oil spill. Lastly I blame the company who is profiting from the oil. The reason is they should have taken responsibility to make sure every thing worked. Many things failed during this tragic event. If the company who was in charge of all of it took responsibility, then this whole thing would have been prevented. In conclusion, the sailors, the government, and the company in charge of the operation should be to blame. These are the best three i can think of, there are many more possibilities though.

fossil fuels
rocks get burned for energy, electricity, etc.. and lots of carbon gets put into the atmosphere. Which then acts as a green house gas, which means it traps all this carbon in the earths atmosphere. This the earth warmer by a couple of degrees
